My client is a highly innovative and dynamic multinational company based in Cork. They are currently recruiting for a level 1 Technical Support professional with fluent German and English.
Roles / Responsibilities:
Providing technical support on platforms such as Windows NT, Windows 2000 and UNIX
First point of contact offering telephone and email based support
Log and process support calls and if necessary escalate to 2nd level support
Effectively interact with team members to provide solutions to technical issues
Achieve total customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding their expectations
Skills / Experience:
Fluency in German and English is a must
Fluency in a third European language would be an advantage
Minimum of 1 year proven experience gained in a post sales or customer support background
Minimum of 1 year experience of networking and web/internet protocols including UNIX, TCP/IP and NT.
Minimum of 1 year experience of hardware structures, operating systems, email, or groupware networking
MCSE or CCNA would be an advantage
