Job Description:
The Business Analyst is responsible for liaising with business teams in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes in business processes, policies and information systems. A significant proportion of work will be undertaken in accordance with the project framework of small, medium and large sized projects.
Roles / Responsibilities:
Initial Analysis of Change Requests
Working with business sponsors to understand project objectives, scope and acceptance criteria
Interpretation of business needs and translation into application and operational requirements
Analyse and document business processes
Leading Walkthroughs of requirements with Business and Technology areas
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Develop requirement specifications according to standard templates using natural language
Working closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
Provision of the Application Support Document
Oversight of test cases
High level initial testing
Assistance with User Acceptance Testing as required
Skills / Experience:
· Detailed procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Transfer Agency business is desired. This should be complemented with a good understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry
· Sound knowledge of systems, including Microsoft Office applications, is required
· Business related degree is preferable
· Business Analysis and requirements gathering skills and knowledge are essential for this role
· Working knowledge of Transfer Agency STP, SWIFT and FTP
