My client is a well-respected innovative company based in Cork. They are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Technical Support professional with fluency in French, Italian or German.
Roles / Responsibilities:
Working with the Lead Test Engineer to identify and prioritize business requirements relating to system testing
Develop test plans for complex software products under development.
Develop innovative and effective methods for testing complex software products
Ensuring Quality Assurance procedures are applied for key new products.
Preparing reports on test coverage and testing progress as required by project test plan
Developing system test scenarios for each test objective
Skills / Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience of testing on Linux/Unix platforms
Sound knowledge of good testing practice
Experience with test-plan creation and implementation
Strong technical software skills, including knowledge of scripting languages
Experience in test automation and script creation
In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and industry standards
Strong Trouble-Shooting and Analytical skills as well as excellent multi-tasking abilities required
Degree/Diploma qualified in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science
Strong understanding of data and telecommunications technology and principles
Excellent literacy and communication skills
