Job Description:
Java Software Engineer
Roles / Responsibilities:
¿ Develop best-in-class client application
¿ Work as part of a team within the engineering group to meet the goals of the engineering team.
¿ Interact with QA team to ensure that our clients reputation for excellence is maintained.
Skills / Experience:
¿ Excellent development and Java skills
¿ At least 1 year experience of implementing Java Swing based client applications
¿ Experience with development tools such as Netbeans, ANT and Subversion
¿ Knowledge of design patterns, particularly MVC would be an advantage
¿ Excellent communication skills ¿ both written and verbal
¿ Proven problem solving skills
¿ Educated to degree level in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
