Job Description:
Our client a leading multinational based in Cork is currently looking to recruit a Senior Solutions Engineer (DMX/VMAX)
Working with proven professionals and certified BI/DW experts the solutions engineer will provide expertise around DMX/VMAX , related software and various other core data centre technologies. Customer facing activities can also include, Solutions Demonstrations, Workshops, Tradeshow support and Customer Proof of Concepts.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Extensive knowledge of DMX/VMAX Storage Arrays.
- Knowledge of Control Center, Solutions Enabler, SMC, PowerPath.
- Certification desirable.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring /analysis tools.
- Knowledge of backup/recovery and replication technologies.
- Knowledge of CLARiiON / Celerra an advantage.
- FC SAN Design, Configuration, trouble shooting, monitoring and performance.
- Knowledge IP/Ethernet technologies.
- OS ¿ Windows/RH Linux
- VMware.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Presentation Skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Technical Project Management an advantage.
