Job Description:
The main focus of this role is the ongoing support and maintenance of the Unix Based systems that underpin the foreign exchange trading services.
- Maintain Unix Services to SLA at the Bureau.
- Develop the processes/procedures as part of a continuous improvement approach to Unix Service Delivery.
- Work as part of highly skilled technical team reporting to the Service Delivery Manager.
- Provide out-of-hours on-call support for the Unix Services that you provide.
Core Technical Competencies
- 4 Years Linux Administration
- 2 Years Solaris Administration Experience
- Good knowledge of Firewalls/Networking including TCP/IP
- Experience of
- Familiarity with multi-tier web deployed systems
- A knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial : BEA Weblogic Server, IBM Websphere MQ, Apache/Tomcat, Iplanet, Tripwire, Oracle

Additional Competencies
- Knowledge of Foreign exchange or similar financial services.
- Degree level or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
