Job Description:
Consulting Engineer \ Systems Architect
A new, and key development role that is focused on the design and delivery of complete solutions. The objectives of this role are to link customers business needs with IT technical solutions, developing a comprehensive framework for systems delivery.The technical competency areas where knowledge is required include Citrix, the Windows Platform, SAN technologies, WAN technologies, System Management Products (MOM etc), Messaging and Security.
This role also involves a level of Project Management and Consultancy with clients to develop and enhance the solutions proposed, or being proposed, in the technical specialties above
Requirements:
VMWare or Citrix Certification (CCEA) or Microsoft Certification
8+ years experience in the design and delivery of large solutions
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure Products
Have a keen understanding of Business requirements
Have a keen knowledge and understanding of the technical areas outlined
Technical writing and Proposal Development skills
Tender response writing
Field experience is a definite requirement.
Other Qualifications:
3rd Level qualification or extensive experience
Industry certifications such VMWare, Cisco, IBM, HP
