Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the Funds industry, is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Consultant to join their Risk and Compliance team.
They are looking for a Consultant that can assist the Compliance management team in developing, designing, advising and implementing various solutions within a data capturing and reporting environment.
The ideal candidate should have experience within the Business Intelligence field with a strong data management and report writing background combined with experience of analysing business functions and recommending/implementing solutions to increase efficiencies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Building new Compliance databases to support existing business and business take on
- Streamlining and integrating existing databases
- Streamlining and improving reporting writing
- Training and Development
- Assist in the re-engineering and scalability of the regulatory reporting processes
- Assisting with the development of an IT project plan for Compliance
Requirements
- Business Intelligence
- Database design, development and management (SQL Server, Sybase)
- Rules based application programming. (Java, .Net)
- Excel automation (VBA)
- Report Writting Development
- Business Analysis and Project Management
- Understanding of iterative development techniques, with preference given to candidates with experience in an Agile (such as SCRUM) planning cycle
- Ability to communicate ideas to a broad section of groups from technical to business
- Experience of participating in the full development lifecycle from business analysis through to testing and deployment
- Financial Compliance experience, ideally in the Hedge Fund administration area
- Degree Qualified
