Role: Enterprise Application Architect

My client is a highly respected global company based in Munster. They are currently looking for an Enterprise Application Architect to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate architecture standards, guidelines and reference architectures.
- Review and/or write technical specifications and participate in design and application architecture reviews.
- Technical services; application architecture design and maintenance; security operations.
- Prepare and deliver technical training material.
- Prepare, deliver and audit technical standards
- Provide technical direction, consultation, and assist in system implementation.
- Research, identify, test, and select technology products required for solution delivery.
- Drive implementation and use of technology governance processes.
- Translate business requirements and product vision into application architecture.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with large corporate IT operations, major IT programs, systems integration and application architecture at enterprise levels
- Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.
- Expertise in broad set of web development technologies: J2EE, EJB, SOAP, XML, Web Services, JavaScript, .NET, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle Fusions middleware components (e.g. enterprise bus service, Weblogic, Web center, Identity management, Business process management,
- Good knowledge of Oracle database, Oracle forms, PL/SQL,Unix/Linux
- Experience in TIA, Filenet, GIS, force.com applications
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated team player with results oriented track record.
- Good project management awareness and experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
Desired:
- At least 8 or more years of experience in Information Technology with a heavy concentration in application architecture, integration design in the most recent three years.
